How seller payment works

When a buyer orders your tradeline, the buyer’s payment enters the applicable payment/holding flow while the order is pending. Zelle payments are held by Confirmed Identity (Match Point Software LLC DBA Confirmed Identity), an independent third-party payment/holding provider, while the order is pending. Credit-card payments are processed by a separate payment partner, and the funds are then transferred to and held by Confirmed Identity while the order is pending.

You then add the authorized user by the dates in your order instructions – we notify you by email and text when it is time.

Seller payment is released only after the purchased line has been verified as posted through TradelineScore’s verification process, and never before your listing’s Final Reporting Date – the last day of the Reporting Window shown on your listing. “Posted” means the line is reporting to at least two of the three major credit bureaus by the Final Reporting Date; fewer than two is not posted, and TradelineScore does not promise which two.

The four conditions before release

Your payout is released when all of these are true for the order:

  1. The listing’s Final Reporting Date has arrived or passed.
  2. The order-specific Dispute Period has passed. It begins after the Final Reporting Date, and the original documented first-report date counts even if a dispute is opened later.
  3. Posting is affirmatively confirmed – through the buyer’s or broker’s confirmation or credit-report evidence.
  4. Any qualifying issue reported during the Dispute Period has been resolved.

We do not pull every buyer’s credit report, and a seller’s own statement that the authorized user was added is not enough on its own. Buyers and brokers are asked to check whether lines posted and to contact us only if there is a problem; we investigate reported issues, which may include soft credit pulls.

How you receive the money

Payouts are sent by direct deposit through Paychex to the payout account you set up with Paychex. The stated payout for your listing is what you receive; nothing is deducted from it by TradelineScore.

What affects what you earn

Your listing shows its stated payout before you list – that stated amount is what you receive, with nothing deducted by TradelineScore. What affects a listing’s stated payout:

Order flow is not guaranteed: a listing does not guarantee an order or income. Fulfilling orders on time and following each order’s instructions keeps your listings in good standing.

  • Account age – older accounts tend to be more attractive to buyers
  • Credit limit – higher limits tend to be more competitive
  • Utilization – must stay strictly below 10% at all times; low balances keep your listing eligible

What can delay or stop a payout

  • A qualifying issue reported during the Dispute Period (payment is held until it is investigated and resolved)
  • Utilization reaching 10% or more during an active order – the order is canceled and the buyer chooses a replacement line or a full refund
  • A line that cannot be verified as posted by the Final Reporting Date
  • Missing or incomplete order steps on your side – follow each order’s instructions and respond to our emails and texts promptly

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Listing a card whose utilization fluctuates near 10%
  • Ignoring order emails and texts
  • Removing an authorized user before the order’s agreed removal date
  • Promising buyers posting speed or outcomes – no posting date is guaranteed and credit results are never promised
  • Listing before reading the Seller Eligibility Requirements

Frequently asked questions

When do I receive my payment?

After all four release conditions are met: the Final Reporting Date and the order’s Dispute Period have passed, posting is affirmatively confirmed, and any qualifying reported issue is resolved. Payment is never released before the Final Reporting Date. We do not quote a fixed number of days because confirmation timing varies by order.

How is my payout amount determined?

Your listing shows a stated payout, which depends on the card’s age, limit, utilization and buyer demand. There is no universal rate, and nothing is deducted from the stated amount by TradelineScore.

How will I know when to add an authorized user?

We notify you by email and text message when an order is placed on your card, with the instructions and dates for that specific order.

What happens if my tradeline does not post?

If the issue is reported during the order’s Dispute Period, it is investigated and resolved before any payout decision. Posting questions are handled under the Posting Guarantee Policy, which protects buyers; seller payment depends on posting being verified. Protections that apply after posting – early removal or material service failure before the agreed removal date – are separate from the initial nonposting window and run through the agreed removal date.
