Compare Authorized User Tradelines
Compare authorized-user listings by lender, account age, credit limit, price and reporting window. Select up to four lines per order, each from a different issuer. A reservation request does not collect payment.
After availability is confirmed, our team will confirm payment arrangements with you directly. Zelle payments are received and held by Confirmed Identity, an independent third-party payment and holding provider. Seller payment is not released before the listing's Final Reporting Date, and stays on hold while a reported issue is investigated. The exact scheduled removal date is provided after purchase. Posting does not guarantee a credit score increase or loan approval.
Availability may change.
Refund & Replacement Rules
Nonposting claims are assessed against the listing-specific Final Reporting Date. If the line has not posted by that date and the claim qualifies under the Posting Guarantee and Refund Policy , the buyer or broker is entitled to a full refund for the affected line or service, including any card-processing fee attributable to the affected item, if such a fee was charged. A nonposting claim first reported within the order's Dispute Period that qualifies receives the full refund even if our investigation finishes later. A nonposting claim first reported after the order's Dispute Period ends is reviewed case by case, and a full refund is not automatically guaranteed. A replacement may be offered but is optional and cannot replace, restrict or delay a qualifying refund.
If an early removal or material service failure qualifies under our Refund Policy, the applicable refund is available for the affected line. TradelineScore may offer a suitable replacement when available, but a replacement is optional and is not required in place of an applicable refund. Orders placed before this version was published remain subject to the terms that applied when they were placed. These protections continue through the agreed removal date and are not shortened or delayed by the nonposting Dispute Period.
Buyer- or broker-caused cancellations and separate non-refundable situations follow the applicable Agreement and do not override qualifying guarantee remedies.
Posting means the purchased authorized-user line reports to at least two of the three major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) by its listing-specific Final Reporting Date, which is the last day of the displayed Reporting Window. We do not promise which two bureaus. Claims require review. Passing the Final Reporting Date does not automatically issue a refund without a qualifying claim, and there is no automatic day-14 or day-15 rule. In a multi-item order, only affected items are refunded unless every item qualifies. Promotional wallet credit used for a refunded item is restored as promotional credit under its applicable terms, not as cash. See the Posting Guarantee and Refund Policy for eligibility, claim review, refund scope and promotional-credit rules.
Understanding AU Tradelines
A tradeline is an account entry on a credit report, such as a credit card, loan or line of credit. It can include the creditor's name, account type, credit limit or balance, and payment history. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau describes tradeline reporting as a source of information used in credit reports and credit scoring.
Most buyers are specifically looking for authorized user (AU) tradelines: placements on existing credit card accounts. Depending on the issuer and credit bureau, the account's age, credit limit and payment history may appear on the buyer's credit report. Reporting and credit-score outcomes vary. This differs from a primary tradeline, which is an account opened in a person's own name, like an auto loan or a personal credit card. For a full explanation of how this works — including research findings and their limits — see our complete guide to Authorized User Tradelines Explained.
Tradeline Score's role is to make the process of finding and buying these tradelines transparent and verifiable for everyone involved: buyers, brokers, and the cardholders who list their accounts for sale.
Browse Tradeline Listings
Use the catalog to compare the displayed listing details. The exact scheduled removal date is provided after purchase in your payment receipt and order portal.
| Attribute | What It Tells You |
|---|---|
| Bank / Issuer | Which card issuer reports the tradeline (for example, Chase, Discover, Barclays, or Bank of America) |
| Account Age | How long the underlying account has been open. May affect factors like the average age of accounts once reported, though impact varies by credit profile and scoring model |
| Credit Limit | The account's reported credit limit. Its effect on utilization or a score depends on reporting, the scoring model and the rest of the credit file. |
| Reporting Window | The estimated dates the tradeline is expected to report. The last day is the listing's Final Reporting Date. |
| Final Reporting Date | The last day of the displayed Reporting Window. This listing-specific date establishes the deadline against which posting is evaluated under the Posting Guarantee and Refund Policy. |
| Agreed Removal Date | Provided after purchase in the payment receipt and order portal. This date defines the end of the purchased placement and covered protection period under the applicable policies. |
| Price | The listing shows the line price. Zelle buyers pay that price after applicable discounts, without an additional payment fee. A qualifying refund covers the affected line or service, including any card-processing fee attributable to the affected item, if such a fee was charged. |
Use the filters to narrow your options by age, limit, price range, or lender, and compare listings side by side — the public catalog is right below, no sign-up required to browse.

Zelle payments are received and held by Confirmed Identity, an independent third-party payment and holding provider. Seller payment is released only after the listing's Final Reporting Date and the order's Dispute Period have passed, posting has been affirmatively confirmed through buyer or broker confirmation or credit-report evidence, and any qualifying issue reported on time has been resolved. The first documented report date counts, even if a portal dispute is created later. A passed Dispute Period, or the absence of a complaint, is not by itself confirmation that a line posted. If an issue is reported before payment is released, payment stays on hold while it is investigated and until it is resolved.

Track your order
Track the displayed Reporting Window; its last day is the listing's Final Reporting Date. After purchase, your payment receipt and order portal provide the exact scheduled removal date. Contact support if your order dates are missing or unclear.
Posting must be affirmatively confirmed through buyer or broker confirmation or credit-report evidence before seller payment is released. This does not mean TradelineScore independently pulls every buyer's credit report. Seller confirmation that the buyer was added as an authorized user is not enough to establish reporting. The separate timing and claim-resolution conditions in the Payment Holding policy also apply.
Zelle payments are received and held by Confirmed Identity (Match Point Software LLC DBA Confirmed Identity), an independent third-party payment and holding provider separate from the individual seller. When an order comes in, TradelineScore's cardholder operations team reviews the cardholder's credit card statement and account details to confirm the account meets eligibility requirements before the order moves forward.
Before You Buy: Readiness Checklist
Incomplete or mismatched personal information can cause posting or verification delays. Before purchasing, take a few minutes to confirm the following:
If you have a credit freeze or fraud alert, ask support what, if anything, is required for your specific verification step before changing it. Do not remove a protection simply to browse listings or because a general checklist recommends it.
Use your accurate legal name, current address and date of birth when ordering. Check your reports for errors or material mismatches that could affect verification, and ask support what needs to be addressed.
Have a government photo ID and proof of address ready if requested. Use the requested secure process for documents.
Review these details before paying. Any verification or documentation specifically required for your order still applies.
Types of AU Tradelines You Can Buy
Seasoned Tradelines
In this catalog, seasoned refers to accounts at least 24 months old. Often used by buyers who want to add depth to a thin credit file. See how these compare to newer tradelines.
High-Limit Tradelines
With the same reported balance, a higher credit limit results in a lower utilization percentage. Credit utilization is one factor considered by credit-scoring models, while authorized-user accounts may be treated differently depending on the model and the rest of the credit profile. See High-Limit vs. Low-Limit Tradelines for the utilization math.
Piggyback Tradelines
A general term for AU tradelines added to reflect an existing account's history on a buyer's credit profile. Reporting and scoring treatment varies by issuer, bureau and scoring model.
Tradeline Packages
Combinations of listings with different account ages and credit limits. Retail orders allow up to four lines, each from a different issuer.
Comparing Listings by Feature
The table below points to the listing details worth comparing.
| Detail to Compare | Where to Look |
|---|---|
| Credit limit | High-limit and low-limit listings — see High-Limit vs. Low-Limit Tradelines |
| Account age | Seasoned and newer listings — see Seasoned vs. New Tradelines |
| Placement cycles | Look for 2 Cycles or 3 Cycles; these indicate approximately two or three billing cycles of authorized-user placement. |
| Expected posting window | See fast-posting tradelines |
Pricing can vary by account age, credit limit, issuer, availability and other listing details. Buying Tradelines vs. Other Credit-Building Options
Whether you plan to purchase tradelines outright or consider one of the alternatives below, it helps to understand the trade-offs first.
Paid AU placement
- Timing and limits
- Reporting timing depends on listing, issuer and bureau; no score or lending result is guaranteed.
- Cost
- Per-placement price; review disclosed payment fees.
- Duration / ownership
- Temporary authorized-user placement; reporting after removal varies.
Dispute inaccurate credit-report information
- Timing and limits
- Investigation timing and outcome depend on the issue and applicable rules.
- Cost
- You can dispute errors yourself for free; a provider may charge fees.
- Duration / ownership
- Accurate negative information generally cannot be removed merely because it is negative.
Secured credit card
- Timing and limits
- Building a payment record takes time; issuer reporting varies.
- Cost
- Deposit and product fees vary; review the card's terms.
- Duration / ownership
- Your own account while open; requires responsible management.
AU arrangement with family or a trusted person
- Timing and limits
- Reporting depends on issuer and bureau.
- Cost
- Ask the primary cardholder about any costs.
- Duration / ownership
- Depends on the agreement, account and issuer; not an account opened in your name.
See the CFPB guidance on disputing credit-report information and Experian's discussion of paid placements and alternatives.
A paid placement is temporary and is not a substitute for building and managing accounts in your own name. Compare the cost and limitations with other options before paying. Reporting, credit-score effects and lender decisions are not guaranteed.
Is It Legal and Safe to Buy Them?
Paid authorized-user placements are not the same as being added to a family member's card. Experian warns that creditors may view buying tradelines as deceptive and that the purchase may not provide the expected benefit. Reporting, scoring-model treatment and lender decisions can differ. Review those limitations before paying.
Adding an authorized user to a credit card account is a standard feature offered by major card issuers. When an order comes in, TradelineScore's cardholder operations team reviews the cardholder's credit card statement and account details to confirm the account meets eligibility requirements before the order moves forward.
It is worth being direct about what these are not. They are not CPNs (credit privacy numbers), and they are not credit sweeps. Both of those practices carry real legal risk, and any provider offering them is worth avoiding.
TradelineScore's service described here is arranging authorized-user placements, not correcting or disputing credit-report information. Adding an account does not remove an existing negative item, and its effect is not guaranteed. Whether particular services and payment arrangements are subject to credit-repair laws is a separate legal question.
Not What We Offer
CPNs (credit privacy numbers) and credit sweeps both carry real legal risk. Any provider offering either of these is worth avoiding entirely.
A 2010 Federal Reserve study examined how authorized-user accounts affect credit scores using a research score scale, not the consumer scores lenders use today. The study found a modest effect on average across the population studied, with larger effects for some people with thin or short credit histories. Reporting, scoring-model treatment, and lender acceptance all vary, so do not buy a tradeline expecting a guaranteed score increase or loan approval. See our complete guide to Authorized User Tradelines Explained for the fuller breakdown.
This information is educational and is not financial, legal, or credit-repair advice. Buyers with specific concerns about their credit strategy may want to speak with a licensed credit counselor or financial advisor before purchasing.
Who Shouldn't Buy a Tradeline
Tradelines can be a genuinely useful tool in the right situation, but they're not a fit for every situation. A few specific cases worth knowing about before you buy:
For manually underwritten loans covered by Fannie Mae's guideline, authorized-user tradelines generally are not considered unless another borrower on the mortgage owns the account or the borrower documents being the sole payer for at least 12 months. If the primary account holder is the borrower's spouse, the lender must consider the account. Automated underwriting has separate treatment. Ask your loan officer how the applicable rules affect your application before buying.
A specific negative item is driving your score down. A tradeline adds new, positive history — it doesn't remove or offset an existing collection, late payment, or charge-off. If a negative item is the main issue, addressing it directly (or speaking with a credit counselor) is likely to matter more than adding a tradeline.
You need a specific, guaranteed increase by a set date. Results can vary by credit file and scoring model, and lenders may evaluate authorized-user history differently. No legitimate provider, including us, can promise a specific outcome.
Your lender may evaluate paid authorized-user history differently. Ask your lender which score and underwriting rules it uses before buying. A score shown in a monitoring service does not guarantee the score or decision a lender will use.
An Illustrative Purchase
The scenario below shows how a purchase works. It is not a real client result.
A buyer compares two listings by account age, credit limit, price, placement cycles and expected posting window, then sends a reservation request. After availability is confirmed, our team confirms payment arrangements with the buyer directly. Seller payment is not released before the listing's Final Reporting Date, and stays on hold while a reported issue is investigated. If the account reports, its effect still depends on the buyer's credit file, the scoring model, and the lender. This example does not predict a score change or loan approval.
How to Read a Tradeline Listing
Orders Close: The deadline to order for the current reporting cycle, generally 3-6 days before the statement date. Cards display labels such as "Closing Today" and "Closing Tomorrow."
2 or 3 Cycles: The approximate number of billing cycles of authorized-user placement.
Only N Left: Actual remaining authorized-user availability, maximum two spots per account.
Inventory Updates: The public catalog refreshes automatically approximately every three hours. Availability can change between updates.
Every listing on our marketplace includes the same core details, no matter the price point. Here are examples spanning the range of what's typically available, walking through what each piece of information actually tells you.
These are illustrative examples for explanation purposes — for real, currently available listings and pricing, browse the public catalog above.
Why this one stands out: A lower limit and a newer account keep the price accessible, making it a common starting point for buyers building initial credit history or working with a tighter budget.
Why this one stands out: Once an account passes the 24-month mark, it's generally considered "seasoned" — often the range buyers look toward when trying to add real depth to a thinner credit file.
Why this one stands out: A high limit paired with a decade of account age is often sought after for its combined effect on utilization and account age — though as with any tradeline, actual impact still depends entirely on your own credit profile.
Citi eligibility: TradelineScore does not accept a Citi placement for a buyer with past or current Citi account history. Tell support before selecting a Citi line. If TradelineScore identifies that history, the Citi selection will be canceled. If payment has already been made, the buyer can choose a refund or a replacement. This rule does not override rights under the applicable agreement or policies.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are tradelines for sale?
Tradelines for sale are authorized-user placements on existing credit card accounts. Depending on the issuer and credit bureau, the account's age, credit limit and payment history may appear on the buyer's credit report. Reporting and credit-score outcomes vary.
How much do they cost?
Prices vary by account age, credit limit, issuer, availability and other listing details. The displayed listing price is available before purchase. Applicable retail discounts are applied automatically.
Can I find tradelines under $300?
Use the Under $300 filter in the public catalog to check the listings currently displayed in that price range. Availability can change between catalog updates. Compare the issuer, account age, credit limit, placement cycles and Reporting Window, then submit a request so our team can confirm availability and next steps. A lower price does not guarantee a credit-score increase or lender approval.
Are AU tradelines legal?
An issuer's authorized-user feature does not by itself establish that a paid placement is accepted under every issuer agreement or by a lender. Reporting, credit-score effects and lender decisions vary. This page does not determine the legality of a particular arrangement. TradelineScore does not offer CPNs or credit sweeps. Get qualified legal advice if you have concerns about a specific arrangement.
How long do tradelines stay on my report?
Listings offer approximately two or three billing cycles of authorized-user placement. This describes how long you are scheduled to remain on the account, not how long the account may continue appearing on a credit report after removal. Reporting after removal varies. Your exact scheduled removal date is provided after purchase in your receipt and portal. See how long tradelines stay on a credit report for a fuller explanation.
How many tradelines should I buy?
The appropriate number depends on your credit profile and goals. Retail orders can include up to four lines, each from a different issuer. Buying more lines does not guarantee a better credit score or lender approval.
Can I buy a tradeline for someone else?
Yes, as long as identity verification is completed and the primary cardholder agrees. This is common among brokers purchasing on behalf of clients or family members.
What happens if a tradeline doesn't post?
Posting means the purchased authorized-user line reports to at least two of the three major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) by its listing-specific Final Reporting Date, which is the last day of the displayed Reporting Window. We do not promise which two bureaus. Each order has an order-specific Dispute Period for first reporting that a line did not post. A nonposting claim first reported within the Dispute Period that qualifies receives the full refund, even if our investigation finishes after the Dispute Period ends. If nonposting is first reported after the Dispute Period ends, we still investigate and work toward a fair resolution, but a full refund is not automatically guaranteed. The first documented report counts, whether made through the portal, by email, by phone or by text. This rule applies to orders placed after this version was published. Buyer- or broker-caused cancellations and separate non-refundable situations follow the applicable Agreement and do not override qualifying guarantee remedies. If a claim or dispute requires a payment hold and seller payment has not yet been released, the payment remains on hold while that review is open. Seller payment that has already been released does not extinguish the early-removal or material-service-failure protections, which continue after posting. After the protection period ends, there is no automatic refund or replacement under the guarantee; documented errors, unusual circumstances or evidence of a problem during the covered period may still be reviewed. Nothing here limits rights available under applicable law. See the Posting Guarantee and Refund Policy for eligibility, claim review, refund scope and promotional-credit rules.
Will buying a tradeline guarantee a specific credit score increase?
No. Results depend on the buyer's existing credit file and how a given lender or scoring model weighs authorized-user history. Any provider promising a specific score outcome should be viewed with skepticism.
Do authorized user tradelines report to all three credit bureaus?
Not necessarily. Reporting practices vary by card issuer, account and credit bureau. Listings do not disclose specific historical credit-bureau coverage. Under our Posting Guarantee , a purchased line has posted when it reports to at least two of the three major credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion) by its listing-specific Final Reporting Date. Reporting to fewer than two is not posted; we do not promise which two. Posting does not guarantee a credit-score increase or lender approval. See the Posting Guarantee and our guide to which credit bureaus report AU tradelines .
When is seller payment released?
Payment is not collected on this website. After availability is confirmed, our team will confirm payment arrangements with you directly. Zelle payments are received and held by Confirmed Identity (Match Point Software LLC DBA Confirmed Identity), an independent third-party payment and holding provider separate from the individual seller. Direct buyers review their own credit reports, and brokers check whether their clients' purchased lines have posted. Buyers and brokers can tell TradelineScore about any posting problem they find, and our team is available to help with reporting questions or problems. TradelineScore investigates reported issues, which may include soft credit pulls. Seller payment is not released merely because you have been added as an authorized user.
How long does it take for a tradeline to post?
Timing varies by listing, issuer and credit bureau. Use the displayed Reporting Window to track expected reporting; its last day is the listing's Final Reporting Date and controls qualifying nonposting claims. A purchased line must report to at least two of the three major bureaus by that date to count as posted. There is no universal countdown from purchase or automatic day-14/day-15 refund rule. See the Posting Guarantee , Refund Policy and our posting schedules and credit bureau timelines guide .
Does a tradeline help with a mortgage application?
For manually underwritten loans covered by Fannie Mae's guideline, authorized-user tradelines generally are not considered unless another borrower on the mortgage owns the account or the borrower documents being the sole payer for at least 12 months. If the primary account holder is the borrower's spouse, the lender must consider the account. Automated underwriting has separate treatment. Ask your loan officer how the applicable rules affect your application before buying.
Does my credit score drop after the tradeline is removed?
It can. Experian notes that if a tradeline had positive information helping your credit score, its removal at the end of the purchased placement period can cause your score to drop back toward where it was before. The effect depends on the rest of your credit file. A score change by itself does not establish whether the placement met the order's reporting and removal terms.
