Before listing a card on Tradeline Score’s marketplace, it needs to meet a few real, current standards — reviewed individually rather than gatekept by a rigid cutoff. This page covers exactly what qualifies, what doesn’t, and what to know about your responsibilities as a seller.

For background on authorized-user protections generally, see the CFPB’s overview of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA).

What Actually Qualifies

  • Consistent, 100% on-time payment history
  • Current utilization under 10%
  • No recent derogatory marks or delinquencies
  • The card must remain active — a small monthly purchase on autopay helps keep it revolving and reporting

There’s no fixed minimum credit limit or account age. Cards are reviewed individually — higher limits and longer history tend to see more consistent buyer matching, but neither is a hard cutoff to list at all.

Banks and credit unions we currently work with: Chase, Bank of America, TD Bank, Alliant Credit Union, Citi, US Bank, PNC, Elan Financial, Capital One, Barclays, and Discover.

Why We Don’t Use a Fixed Cutoff

Some platforms in this space publish a rigid minimum — a fixed number of months, a fixed dollar limit — and reject anything below it. We review each card on its real profile instead. A well-maintained 8-month-old card with clean history can be a genuinely useful listing; an older card with recent late payments isn’t. The behavior matters more than a number attached to it.

Keeping Your Listing Eligible Over Time

  • Keep utilization low and statement dates consistent
  • Avoid new credit inquiries while actively listed
  • List your card exclusively with us — not simultaneously with other tradeline providers
  • Respond promptly to buyer-match notifications

Accounts that stop meeting these standards may be temporarily removed from matching until they’re back in good standing. See our Seller Dashboard Features for how this is tracked.

Verification & Matching

Before listing, sellers verify their identity and provide account details so buyers can be matched by age, limit, and bureau coverage. For general background on how tradelines are structured and reported, see Investopedia’s overview.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the basic requirements to get started?

Consistent on-time payment history, utilization under 10%, and an active, revolving account. There’s no fixed minimum age or credit limit. See Sell Tradelines for the full overview.

Can I sell a tradeline if my card has a low limit?

Yes. Cards are reviewed on their real profile, not a fixed dollar cutoff. See our profit guide for how different card types are matched.

How do I know if my bank is eligible?

See the accepted list above. If your issuer isn’t listed, your card isn’t currently eligible.

Is there a minimum account age?

No fixed minimum — accounts are evaluated individually based on payment history and standing, not a specific number of months.
