Understand Your Payment and Posting Protections
Buyer protection depends on clear listing terms, posting verification and the remedies available when a claim qualifies. Learn how payment holding works, which dates control the guarantee and how to report a problem. Buying an authorized-user tradeline does not guarantee a credit score change or loan approval.

Payment Holding and Verification
You Pay
TradelineScore checkout
Funds Are Held
Held through Confirmed Identity
Seller Payment
Released only after all verified release conditions are met
Payment is held through Confirmed Identity, an independent third-party payment-holding provider, until the order’s verified release conditions are met.
Before You Buy: Check the Terms
Before you buy from anyone - including us - check for these four things.
Payment holding and release rules
Check who holds the payment, when seller payment can be released and how a qualifying refund is handled. Read the Payment Holding Process.
Account and statement review
TradelineScore reviews the cardholder’s account and statement for eligibility when an order comes in for that card, before fulfillment; accounts can be listed before that review. Review helps reduce risk but does not guarantee posting, a particular credit result or lender acceptance.
No CPNs or credit sweeps
TradelineScore does not offer CPNs or credit sweeps. Do not treat authorized-user status as a new credit identity.
Know the dates
Review the listing-specific final reporting date and agreed removal date. Your order also has an order-specific Dispute Period - the time allowed for first reporting that a line did not post - shown in your order receipt.

Walk Away If You See This - Anywhere
- Asked to pay a seller directly, outside the platform’s payment process
- A "CPN" or credit privacy number offered as a fresh start
- A guaranteed, specific credit score increase
- No cardholder account or statement review after an order is placed
How Payment and Posting Verification Work
Use TradelineScore’s checkout rather than paying a seller directly. Review the payment terms, order details and applicable protection policies.
- 01
You select a tradeline and check out
Review the listing, payment terms and protection policies before completing checkout.
- 02
Funds are held under the order terms
Funds remain held while the order is fulfilled and posting is verified.
- 03
The seller adds you as an authorized user
Follow the order’s instructions and provide the information required for fulfillment. Never send card details to a seller.
- 04
Posting is checked against your listing dates
Posting timing varies by listing and issuer cycle; the listing-specific final reporting date controls the nonposting guarantee.
- 05
Seller payment follows the order terms
Seller payment is released only after all of the order’s verified release conditions are met: the posting requirement met, the Final Reporting Date passed, the order-specific Dispute Period elapsed, posting affirmatively verified, and any qualifying issues resolved. Payment is never released before the Final Reporting Date.
Review the order’s price, fees and payment terms. The Refund Policy explains the remedy for an affected tradeline or service when a claim qualifies.
What the Posting Guarantee Covers
Protection with Clear Conditions
Minimum qualifying-posting standard under the guarantee - a posting standard, not an earnings factor or outcome promise
Controls the nonposting guarantee
Defines the covered protection period
If a tradeline has not posted by the listing-specific final reporting date and the claim qualifies under the Posting Guarantee and Refund Policy, the buyer or broker is entitled to a full refund for the affected tradeline or service, including its share of the card-processing fee.
If the tradeline is removed early or the purchased service materially fails before the agreed removal date for reasons outside the buyer’s or broker’s control, a qualifying claim gives the buyer or broker a choice of an appropriate replacement or a full refund, including the affected share of the card-processing fee.
Read the Posting Guarantee Policy for the listing-specific deadline, eligibility rules and available remedies. Read the Refund Policy for the affected-item refund, fees, cancellation terms and promotional-credit rules.

Frequently Asked Questions
Short answers, with links to the complete protection policies.
Do I pay the seller directly?
Use TradelineScore’s checkout, not a direct payment to a seller. Seller payment is released only after all of the order’s verified release conditions are met, never before the Final Reporting Date. Read the Payment Holding Process for the payment steps.
What if the tradeline never posts?
If a tradeline has not posted by the listing-specific final reporting date and the claim qualifies under the Posting Guarantee and Refund Policy, you are entitled to a full refund for the affected tradeline or service, including its share of the card-processing fee. Passing a generic number of days does not itself create a refund deadline.
How are cardholder accounts reviewed?
Accounts can be listed before review. When an order comes in for a card, TradelineScore’s cardholder operations team reviews that account’s statement and eligibility before fulfillment - account age, credit limit, statement date, balance and utilization, active status, and that the statement name matches the registered cardholder name. Our review focuses on credit card statements and account eligibility. It is not a government-ID identity verification process. Review reduces risk but does not guarantee posting, a credit result or lender acceptance.
What happens if I want a refund or reassignment?
A qualifying nonposting claim receives the applicable full-refund protection. For a qualifying early-removal or material-service-failure claim before the agreed removal date, you may choose an appropriate replacement or a full refund for the affected tradeline or service, including its share of the card-processing fee. Ordinary cancellations follow the Refund Policy and cannot reduce a qualifying guarantee remedy.
Can a provider guarantee my credit score will go up by a specific amount?
No score change, credit approval or lender acceptance is guaranteed. Results depend on your credit profile, the scoring model and lender criteria. The Posting Guarantee concerns qualifying fulfillment problems, not credit outcomes.
Is there a limit to how many tradelines I should buy at once?
There is no universal number that is right for everyone. Review your needs and each listing’s terms, and avoid buying on the assumption that more tradelines will guarantee a better credit outcome. For credit or lending advice, consult a qualified adviser.
What makes TradelineScore different from other tradeline sellers?
TradelineScore publishes its payment process, listing terms and protection policies so you can review them before ordering. Compare the actual terms and remedies, rather than relying on an absolute posting or credit-score promise.
Is this legal?
Authorized-user accounts are a recognized feature of credit accounts, but issuer terms, lender treatment and applicable requirements can vary. TradelineScore does not provide legal advice or guarantee lender treatment. We do not offer CPNs or credit sweeps. See our Risk Disclosure for additional information.
How long do I have to report a problem?
For nonposting, the order-specific Dispute Period controls when the issue must first be reported, and a timely documented first report keeps its original date. Qualifying early removal and material service failure remain protected through the agreed removal date. A qualifying refund is not restricted or delayed by an optional replacement. Once a claim qualifies, the applicable remedy is not discretionary. After the window closes, there is no automatic guarantee refund or replacement, but an error, unusual circumstance or evidence that the issue occurred during the covered period may still be reviewed. See the Posting Guarantee and Refund Policy.
