Frequently Asked Questions
What is a tradeline?
A tradeline refers to any account that appears on a consumer’s credit report, such as a credit card, mortgage, auto loan, or line of credit. In the context of Tradeline Score, the term typically refers to authorized user tradelines, where a person is added to an existing credit card account to be reported to the credit bureaus as an authorized user. These accounts carry details such as the account’s age, credit limit, and payment history.
What do you do?
Tradeline Score is a tradeline consulting company looking to use your good credit history to help our clients through the use of Authorized Users (AUs). We do not need access to your accounts; in fact, we don’t even need your card numbers. Your information is always protected and you do not need to recruit any clients. This is not a sales job. You would act as a supplier of good credit, and we would handle all the front-end work for you.
How does this business work?
TradelineScore operates as a trusted platform that connects individuals seeking to strengthen their credit profiles with cardholders who have well-maintained credit accounts. This process involves adding a client as an authorized user (AU) to an existing credit card account—a legal and widely recognized method known as “piggybacking.”
When an authorized user is added, the account’s history—such as age, credit limit, and payment record—is reflected on the user’s credit report. Cardholders remain fully protected, as authorized users never receive access to the credit card or account funds.
👉 Buyers learn how the process works on this page.
Buyers benefit from the reporting history of established tradelines, while cardholders are compensated for temporarily offering unused AU spots. The process is secure, fully managed by TradelineScore, and requires minimal effort from cardholders—typically just a few minutes per month.

How long will the tradeline stay on my credit report?
Our standard posting duration is two billing cycles (approximately 60 days), but options may vary depending on the seller. All durations are clearly listed before purchase.
Do I get access to the credit card as an authorized user?
No. You will be added as an authorized user in name only, and you will not receive any card, access, or ability to use the account.
Is there a credit check or income requirement to buy a tradeline?
No credit check or income verification is required. You simply choose the tradeline you want and follow the steps to provide your identity verification and payment.
What is the escrow service offered by TradelineScore, and how does it protect me?
TradelineScore provides a third-party escrow service to ensure a secure and transparent transaction between buyers and cardholders. When you purchase a tradeline, your payment is held in escrow and not released to the cardholder until the tradeline successfully posts to your credit report.
This process protects you from potential fraud and gives both parties confidence in the transaction. If the tradeline fails to post within the agreed timeframe, you’re eligible for a refund or replacement, guaranteed.
The escrow system adds an extra layer of trust, making TradelineScore one of the most secure platforms in the tradeline marketplace.
Is buying a tradeline legal?
Yes, purchasing a tradeline by becoming an authorized user is legal. Credit bureaus are required to report authorized user accounts under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. However, it’s important to use tradelines ethically and not for any fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
At TradelineScore, we take compliance and trust seriously. That’s why we also offer a third-party escrow service to protect both buyers and cardholders. This added layer of security ensures that your funds are only released once the tradeline posts successfully, giving you peace of mind throughout the entire transaction.
What happens if the tradeline doesn’t post?
If the tradeline doesn’t post within the expected timeframe, we will either replace it at no extra cost or issue a refund—guaranteed. Our goal is your satisfaction and results.
When will the tradeline appear on my credit report?
Tradelines typically post within 7 to 15 business days after you’ve been added to the account. You’ll receive confirmation once the tradeline is live.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes, we take your privacy and security seriously. All data is encrypted and handled in compliance with industry standards. We never share your information with unauthorized third parties.
How can I make money by selling spots on my credit cards?
If you have a credit card with a strong payment history, high limit, and low utilization, you may be eligible to earn passive income by adding authorized users to your account. This process is 100% secure—you retain full control of your card, and authorized users never get access to your account.
We handle everything for you, from screening clients to managing the removal process.
